I did not marry rich. And I did not win the lottery. In fact, before my retirement in august 2022, my husband retired from his job in 2019. And previously to this, we retired my mother in Law in 2016. 

Together we are a team, and we have created a path to freedom, financial freedom.

Yes of course My job was cool, and the one everyone wants to talk about over dinner and the one that people recognize you over and the one that people find cool, yeah yeah, real cool and it was a good paying job too, But HEY it was still a job! One that I had to give my time to. My best hours of the day to. Sometimes my weekends.

At the end of the day It was a job and just like any other person I longed for vacations and eventually retirement.

So why wait, why wait until your knees hurt and your kids are grown up, your parents are gone, and your best years are behind you to live your best life? 

It started as a hobby. We became part time real estate investors. Then I adopted it as a serious side hustle and watched our passion for real-estate and our rent tally grow. Our values remained the same but our goals became clear. We can retire early, enjoy our kids while we are young! Generate enough income to send them to the school neither of our salaries or dreams could afford. All while we ditch our bosses.

Door by door, Peter and I began buying our freedom in 2015.
