ERICKA PINO

Ericka Pino is a seasoned television personality and host with more than 20 years experience in major markets like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Born in Peru, Ericka and her twin sister, Zadith came to the United States with their parents at the age of 9. Ericka Pino graduated from Rider University with a degree in Business and Interpersonal Speech along with Radio and Television Production. She later returned to school to earn her degree in Meteorology from the University of Mississippi. In 2009, Ericka was given the prestigious American Meteorology Society seal of approval. In 2016 and 2018 Ericka and Her husband Peter welcomed #Lassobrinasdetodos, Gabriella and Sienna Milic. Besides being a mom, wife, scientist, speaker and mentor Ericka lends her support to non-profit agencies, and good causes including, FIXNATION, an organization that spays and neuters feral and domestic cats. She has raised her voice in support of organ donation for the New Jersey Organ and Tissue Sharing Network. In 2013 The Chicago White Sox recognized Ericka by inviting her to throw the honorary first pitch. In the last few years, Ericka has been selected nationwide alongside 60 weather forecasters for the title of ‘America’s Favorite Forecaster’. After weeks of viewer voting, in 2012, Ericka was awarded a place on ‘America’s Top Ten Favorite Forecasters’ and in 2014 she was in top 5. In 2016 Ericka Participated In Chicago dancing with the stars where she raised thousands of dollars for breast cancer research and support in Chicago. In 2020 Ericka partnered with Define American to create a video raising awareness of climate change and immigration. With Over One million visitors , Taste of Chicago, the world’s largest food fair, has invited Pino almost every year since her arrival in the Windy City to participate and share her healthy recipes on the main stage. In 2022 Ericka Pino stepped back from television to focus on her kids and her real estate ventures with her husband. Ericka loves weather and is passionate about the environment.
